Family of Dale French grateful for support

To the Editor:

The family of Dale Leslie French would like to express our sincere appreciation to Dale's many friends, neighbors, and students for the outpouring of sympathy and support following her recent passing. It was comforting to know so many others shared our love for her.

She often spoke of her friends in Linton and was so proud of her students and the school.

Special "thank yous" to the Rev. Keith Long and his wife Linda and to Beverly Krieg for helping us through this very difficult time. Keith and Linda acted on our behalf in making arrangements and handling many details because we were so far away. We truly appreciated the lovely service and Keith's touching eulogy. He captured "our Dale" so completely. We greatly appreciated Beverly's assistance at the visitation as she introduced us to the many people who came to pay their respects.

Thank you also to Anderson-Poindexter Funeral Home for their assistance on the day of the service and the lovely video tribute.

We were overwhelmed by the kindness and concern shown to us on this sad occasion. It was easy to see why Dale loved Linton so much and why she was so happy there.
