Rosemary Bones, 83, of Linton, passed away on Tuesday morning, March 25, 2008, at Glenburn Home in Linton.

She was born Sept. 13, 1924, in Greene County, the daughter of Leopold and Marcella (Ginestet) Mirabel.

She was a homemaker and a member of St. Peter Catholic Church in Linton. She was a graduate of Linton High School and Brown Business College of Terre Haute.

Survivors include: a son, John Paul Bones and his wife, Terry, of Terre Haute; a daughter, Beverly Ann Winkles and her husband, Mike, of Terrell, Texas; four grandchildren, Brent Bones and his wife, Melinda, Michael Bones and his wife, April, William "Billy" Bones, and Catherine Winkles; and six great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents and her husband, William C. Bones, Nov. 29, 1993 and a sister, Angel Paulette Brown.

Services will be conducted at 1 p.m. Saturday at Welch & Cornett Funeral Home Linton Chapel with Father Hilary Vieck officiating. Burial will follow at Fairview Cemetery.
