*March 27 -- Jay A. Hansen, 30, Worthington, was arrested by Greene County Sheriff's Department Deputy Chris McDonald on preliminary charges of battery on law enforcement resulting in injury; intimidation; battery resulting in injury; criminal recklessness. Bond set at $10,500.

*March 27 -- Rodney L. Bailey, 62, Linton was arrested by Indiana State Police Trooper Gaven Wilson on a warrant and body attachment write. No bond.

*March 27 -- Nick C. Sarris, 28, Linton was arrested on a warrant by order of the judge. No bond set.

Linton Police Activity Log

The Linton Police Department responded on Thursday to four information-only requests, one drug investigation, one fire/structure, one property damage accident, one medical illness, one vin check, one suspicious person/vehicle, one burglary, one possible intoxicated driver, one theft-other, one disabled/stranded vehicle, two domestic disputes and one domestic neighbor. The LPD had one cleaning person on station, two fingerprint-gun permits and three traffic stops.

* March 27-- Charles Gilbert, of rural Linton, reported the theft of a radio out of his 1984 Ford Ranger. Det. Sgt. Duane Collenbaugh is the investigating officer.

* March 27-- Scott Landis, owner of Landis Equipment in Linton, reported the theft of two oxygen tanks and one AC tank from his business. Det. Sgt. Duane Collenbaugh is the investigating officer.

* March 27 -- A female driver of a 1991 red Dodge Shadow fled the scene after driving into a residential yard at the corner of 5th and K Streets Northwest. The car was left in a ditch near the area and minor property damage was reported. Reserve Officer Harry Hovey is the investigating officer.
