Family says thanks

To the Editor:

The family of Gerald Headley would like to thank everyone that sent flowers, visited the funeral home, made phone calls, sent cards, said prayers, and visited with the family following the passing of Gerald.

All of our acts of kindness and sympathy were very much appreciated. We want to say a special thank you to Brent Meyer for a beautiful message at his funeral as well as to Jenkins and Sons Funeral Home for their thoughtfulness, to Beverly Pridemore and Bill Hudson for the special music, and to the pallbearers.

We also appreciate and thank the women of the Bloomfield First Baptist church that provided the meal after the funeral.

We thank the Lyons Health and Living Center and their employees for the care, concern and comfort they gave taking care of Gerald and for the many acts of kindness shown to the family. We thank Dr. Owen Batterton and the staff at the Intensive Care unit at Greene County General Hospital for the concern and comfort they gave Gerald during his last hours.

To everyone who visited him, sent cards, gifts, and said prayer for Gerald while he was ill at home and at Lyons, we say thank you.
