Kenith Ray Baker, 69, of Bloomfield passed away at 10:53 a.m. on Friday April 4, 2008 at Greene County General Hospital in Linton.
Born Dec. 9, 1938 in Greene County, he was the son of Willard Dayton and Georgie (Lester) Baker.
He was an Army veteran of the Vietnam War, and a farmer. He was a member of the Marco United Methodist Church.
Surviving relatives include: one sister Mary Ann "Dutchi" Bake and one brother, Lee Baker Sr., both of Bloomfield; one nephew Lee Baker Jr., of Bloomfield; two nieces, Kathryn Ferguson and Ruth Ann Baker, both of Bloomfield; five great nieces LaDonna Ferguson, Miranda Baker, Samantha Ferguson, Audrey Ferguson and Courtney Baker.
He was preceded in death by his parents, sister-in-law Carolyn Sue Baker, and several Aunts & Uncles.
Friend may call from 4 to 8 p.m. on Sunday and after 1 p.m. Monday at Jenkins Funeral Home in Bloomfield.
Services will be at 2 p.m. on Monday with Rev. Arlen Pope and Rev. Billy Ed Hostettler officiating at the funeral home. Burial will follow at Grandview Cemetery in Bloomfield with Military Graveside service by the Bloomfield American Legion Post # 196.
