JAIL LOG

* April 16 -- Dustin Mattox, 22, Jasonville, was arrested on preliminary charges of six counts of operating a vehicle while intoxicated and obstruction of justice and was being held on $12,000 bond. Greene County Sheriff's Deputy Jeremy Inman was the arresting officer.

* April 16 -- Terry Clark, 53, Washington, was arrested for failure to appear and was being held without bond. Greene County Sheriff's Deputy John Fowler was the arresting officer.

LINTON POLICE DEPARTMENT

ACTIVITY LOG

The Linton Police Department's activity log for Wednesday included one follow-up investigation, two requests for information only, one accident with property damage, one medical/illness, one animal complaint, one VIN check, one suspicious vehicle/person, three assists to other agencies, one harassment complaint, one domestic battery, one child abuse/neglect, one reckless driver, one extra patrol, one theft-other, one lost/stolen license plate, two disabled/stranded vehicles, one welfare check/concern, two ordinance violations, one battery and two traffic stops.

* April 15 -- Elijah R. Haldeman, 18, Linton, was arrested at Fast Zack's Car Wash at approximately 12:45 a.m. after police received a complaint of an incident of criminal mischief. When an officer arrived, Haldeman was standing at the east edge of the car wash and started yelling and screaming and continued to do so after being asked to stop several times. He was taken into custody and transported to Greene County Jail where he was booked in on preliminary charges of disorderly conduct, illegal possession of alcohol and public intoxication. LPD Cpl. Chad E. Crynes was the arresting officer. LPD Patrolman Jayson Smith provided assistance on the scene. Another charge of criminal mischief was also filed against Haldeman in connection with a window that was kicked out of a car in the parking lot of the Taco Bell.

* April 16 -- A drive-off theft of fuel was reported from Murphy USA gas station after a younger male driver driving a Chevy truck pumped $63 work of gas then drove off without paying around 12:30 p.m. LPD Patrolman Karl Jacobshagen is the investigating officer.
