Wednesday, April 23, 2008

To the Editor:

The family of Kenith (Kenny) Baker would like to say thank you to all who showed their love and support with their prayers, visits to the hospital, phone calls, cards, food, flowers, visits to the funeral home, and momentos during Kenny's illness and passing. All of your acts of kindness and sympathy were very much appreciated.

A special thank you to the Greene County General Hospital pink ladies, nurses and aides on the third floor for the care, concern, and comfort they gave while taking care of him; Brad, Gary, George, and Scott at Lester Jenkins and Sons Funeral Home for taking care of us; Rev. Billy Ed Hostettler and Rev. Arlen Pope for the very special eulogy; Bloomfield American Legion Post 196 for the beautiful military graveside service; our wonderful neighbors for all the delicious food, visits, cards, and prayers; and Marco High School Class of 1955 for being there for us.

We thank you and may God bless each and every one of you.

A special thank you and appreciation goes to our wonderful cousin, Jan (Stone) Timmons of Indianapolis, who spent days and nights with us in the hospital and at home after Kenny's passing taking care of Mary Ann and all the business matters. You are such a blessing! Thank you for being there!

To all our family, friends, and neighbors we thank you for all your love, prayers, and kindness. May God's hand touch and richly bless each one of you.
