Letter to the Editor

Sunday would be a good time to go to church

To the Editor:

We had a very pleasant time at the Triple H Gun Club on Monday night of last week. There was a gathering of back country, small town peasants, whose only interests are guns and religion and good old county music, played by a very good local band.

The only downer was Obama couldn't make it. This is a regular Monday night event. Also, the food from The Grill on the Hill is delicious, well prepared and served by a couple of young ladies. You ought to try it sometime.

The earthquake is the subject of conversation now-a-days. It brings to mind a scripture in Biblical prophecy. "In the last days," there will be earthquakes in divers' places. Are these the last days? Are you ready to give up your TVs and SUVs to go to meet "The Judge?" How do you think we'll fare? Will "He" say "Enter thou into the "Joy of thy Lord" or will "He" say, depart from me, "I" never knew you. Do you know the lord? Better yet, does "He" know you?

Events of recent days are thought-provoking "there will be wars and rumors of wars - earthquakes," etc. just like the Bible predicts. Have you read a Bible lately? It appears like we all could get a little closer to "God" in these last days.

A good time for this could be on Sunday morning at the church of your choice. Take the family. The precious little ones will enjoy it.

See you in Church, Sunday.

Thanks for listening.
