To the Editor:

The Wright Township Volunteer Fire Department recently presented a play at their firehouse in Midland and at Shakamak School for the kids attending prom.

We would like to thank the Jasonville and Lewis Fire Departments for all of their help. We also would like to thank the Greene County Sheriff's Department, and the Greene County Ambulance Service and the Jasonville Police Department.

We want to thank the two local ministers that assisted as well as the McClanahan-Lee Funeral Home. We also would like to thank the students from Shakamak that helped in anyway from the props, to the sounds to the acting.

We especially want to thank the three attorneys who took time out of their busy schedules to assist us with this project. The attorneys were Jake Fish, Dena Martin, and Karen Strueh. They made the sentencing scene true to life due to their professionalism and how they all worked together.

The play would not have been nearly as realistic or have the impact that it had without the help of all of these people. We had many positive comments on the play and many of the audience were brought to tears during it.

If we touched one person and made them think before they get in a car and drive after drinking or if one person refuses to get in a car with someone who has been drinking than we have done our job and it was all worth it.

Thanks again to all who made this possible.
