Lady Cards lose third game
North Central and Bloomfield each had seven hits, but the visiting LadyBirds scored two runs in the second and two more in the fifth as they beat the Lady Cardinals 4-1 in a high school softball game at Northside Diamonds Tuesday.
Both teams have won 10 of 13 games.
"It was a well played game," said Bloomfield coach Jessica Lauderdale. "It was a very good game by both teams.
"We had a few errors, but only one cost us a run. They had some really good hits that were placed with runners on base. It was a pretty good match-up."
