Jeana Marie Rose, 6, of Jasonville, passed away at 9:58 a.m. Monday, May 12, 2008 at Greene County General Hospital in Linton.
Born April 9, 2002 at Sullivan County Community Hospital in Sullivan, she was the daughter of Rodney William and Sharon Lynn (Evol) Rose.
Jeana was a Kindergarten student at Shakamak Elementary School in Jasonville.
She is survived by her parents; a sister, Samantha Rose, at home; paternal grandparents, Roger and Teresa Rose of Jasonville; maternal grandparents, Daniel and Linda Evol of Jasonville; maternal great-grandparents, Dan and Mary Evol of St. Bernice; paternal great-grandmother, Drucilla Delaney, of Mission Vahoe, CA; paternal great-grandmother, Dorothy Rose, of Linton; paternal great-grandmother, Mary Souders of Elnora; and uncle: Danny and Brooke Evol of Jasonville; aunts, Rebecca Thomas & Adam of Brazil and Kacey Rose and Edward Allen of Bedford; several other aunts, uncles and many cousins.
She was preceded in death by great-grandfathers,Thomas Delaney, William Donald Rose and Marvin Kamplain.
Visitation will be from 5-9 p.m. Thursday at the Shakamak Elementary School Gym in Jasonville.
Private family services will be conducted on Friday with Pastor Sam Bush and Pastor Mark Akers officiating. Burial will be at Peavey Cemetery in Howesville.
Arrangements are being handled by McClanahan-Lee Funeral Home in Jasonville.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made in Memory of Jeana to help with funeral expenses. Envelopes will be available.
