* June 4 -- Richard P. Hamm, II, 20, Lyons, was arrested on a preliminary charge of minor consumption and was being held on $500 bond.

* June 5 -- Kryslin S. Houston, 19, Linton, was arrested on a preliminary charge of battery and was being held on $500 bond.



The Linton Police Department's activity log on Wednesday included one title check, two requests for information only, three assists to the utility department after hours, one structure fire, three accidents with property damage, one lost and found, one hazardous material disposal and wash-down, two medical/illness, one alarm, four assists to other agencies, two harassment complaints, one theft-other and one battery.

* June 4 -- A resident of Sullivan reported an incident of intimidation involving verbal threats. They told an officer that around 2 p.m. they were walking by a residence on B St. S.E. when a person started to verbally abuse them threatening physical harm and that the person was then restrained by another person. LPD Patrolman Karl Jacobshagen is the investigating officer.

* June 4 -- No injuries were reported after an accident involving two vehicles at 410 A St. N.E. around 10:23 p.m. One vehicle was pulling out of a parking space on the east side of Wendy's Restaurant when a second vehicle entered the lot and struck the first in the passenger side door and down the side. LPD Patrolman Jayson Smith was the investigating officer.
