Greene County Jail Log

* Friday, June 6 -- Stephen S. Wheeler, 35, Jasonville, battery, $500 bond. Arresting officer Jasonville P.D. Officer Ryan VanHorn. Court appearance set for June 13.

Linton Police Department Activity Log

The Linton Police Department for the weekend worked two trespassing cases, two cases of breaking and entering, two fights, four property damage traffic accidents, six animal complaints, one harassment complaint, two reckless driving cases, one theft, one bicycle theft, three domestic disputes, one vandalism, one public intoxication case, one fire, completed two handgun permits and made 10 traffic stops

* June 7 -- Pastor Warren Allen of the Fellowship Baptist Church at 15th and Price Road reported a basement window was busted out with a brick and several items inside the church were ransacked, but nothing was reported missing. Blood smears were present in the pastor's office, kitchen and a closet. Samples were taken. Investigating officer is Officer Karl Jacobshagen.

* June 7 -- Josh Ketchem reported a lime-green colored BMX style bicycle had been stolen from the Linton Public Library sometime between noon and 1:10 p.m. Investigating officer is Officer Karl Jacobshagen.

* June 6 -- Tracy Phillips of Dugger reported that someone sliced the driver's front tire on her 2005 Dodge Stratus that was parked at 119 Southwest F Street.
