Family appreciates recent support

To the Editor:

On Saturday, May 24, God called another angel to be with Him in Heaven. Ted Ray left us unexpectedly to go be with his Lord.

The family of Ted A. Ray would like to say thank you to all who showed their love and support with their prayers, phone calls, food, flowers, cards, visits to the funeral home and church, and mementos we received in memory of our husband, dad, grandpa, brother, and uncle, Ted A. Ray.

All of your acts of kindness and sympathy were very much appreciated.

A special thank you to Brad, Gary, and Scott at Lester Jenkins and Sons Funeral Home for taking care of us; also we thank whomever brought the meat and cheese tray to the funeral home; Wini Frances for the beautiful music and special songs; the Rev. Sherrel Page and Dr. Michael Frances for the very special eulogy; all the pallbearers; Bethany Christian Church for all the love, prayers, cards, the beautiful angel, and most of all the abundance of delicious food after the funeral at the church; Antioch Christian Church for all the love, prayers, and food you sent our way, it was all so appreciated; our wonderful neighbors for all the delicious food, visits, cards, and prayers; to all who gave memorial contributions to Bethany Christian Church in memory of Ted, we thank you so much.

Also, a special thank you to the one anonymous giver to the church. We thank you and may God bless each and every one of you.

To all our family and friends we thank you for all your love, prayers, kindness, and for sharing all your wonderful memories of Ted with us.

May God's hand touch and richly bless each one of you.

Sandborn man

says thanks

To the Editor:

Many of you know me as the service manager of Linton Motors (Kramer Motor Sales) for the past 28 years. I have been providing automotive service to customers from all over southern Indiana, and especially Linton.

I am writing this letter to express my appreciation and gratitude for your business, support, and friendship. For reasons I will not discuss here, I will no longer be providing that service. I do wish to thank all of my customers. It has been a wonderful 28 years and I hope to provide you help in the near future.

Again thank you all so very much.

Workers did

a good job

To the Editor:

I want to publicly thank the men from the Bloomfield Street Department.

During all the flooding we had, I was in the process of replacing a broken sewer line. I called them to my house several times to see if it was unblocked. They came every time I called and their help was invaluable to a senior citizen.

Thank you.
