Wilma L. 'Billie' DeCourcy, 85, of Linton, passed away Friday, June 27, 2008 at Bloomington Hospital.

She was born on July 16, 1922, in Linton to William B. and Edna (Frankenfield) Carlton.

Billie married Charles N. DeCourcy on October 10, 1938.

She owned and operated 'Billie's Beauty Shop' and retired in 1966. She was a member of the First United Methodist Church, Order of Eastern Star Chapter #360 (50 yr. member), and American Legion Post #22 Ladies Auxiliary.

Survivors include: a daughter, Jeanette (Phil) Webb of Linton; a son, Richard DeCourcy of Linton; and a daughter, Christley DeCourcy of Hazel Grain, AL; a sister, Suzie (Harold) Brinson of Linton; six grandchildren, and 10 great grandchildren.

Billie was preceded in death by her parents, and her husband, Charles N. DeCourcy (5/15/1998).

The funeral will begin at 1 p.m. Tuesday with Rev. Doug Witt officiating. Interment will follow at Fairview Cemetery in Linton.

Friends may call at the Anderson-Poindexter Memory Chapelin Linton from 4-8 p.m. on Monday and from 9 a.m. until the hour of service on Tuesday.
