GREENE COUNTY SHERIFF'S DEPARTMENT

JAIL LOG

* July 24 -- Tamara S. Atkinson, 46, Linton, was arrested on a warrant and was being held on $10,000 bond. Greene County Sheriff's Special Deputy Bruce Porter was the arresting officer.

* July 24 -- Crystal D. Thompson, 24, Bloomfield, was arrested on a warrant and was being held on $27,000 bond. Indiana State Police Trooper Eric Russell was the arresting officer.

* July 24 -- Jamie S. Nicholson, 30, Linton, was arrested on a warrant, released on $4,000 bond and scheduled to appear in court on July 28. Greene County Sheriff's Special Deputy Lee Condol was the arresting officer.

* July 25 - Richard L. Denny, 36, Jasonville, was arrested on preliminary charges of three counts related to operating a vehicle while intoxicated and was being held on $4,000 bond. Jasonville Police Officer Danny Keller was the arresting officer.

* July 25 - Chianna Allsup, 32, Jasonville, was arrested on a warrant out of Vigo County and was being held without bond. Jasonville Police Officer Ryan Vanhorn was the arresting officer.

ACTIVITY LOG

The Linton Police Department's activity log for Thursday included one follow-up investigation, one incident of vandalism, one disorderly conduct, three lost and found, four medical/illness, one animal complaint, two suspicious vehicles/persons, one harassment complaint, one domestic battery, one possibly intoxicated driver, two thefts-other, one welfare check/concern, one open garage door, two ordinance violations and five traffic stops.

* July 23 -- A resident on 3rd St. S.W. reported a black and orange bicycle was stolen from their yard. LPD Det. Duane Collenbaugh is the investigating officer.

* July 23 -- A resident on Rural Route 2 reported a Craftsman leaf blower and a Craftsman weed eater was missing from their property. LPD Patrolman Debbie McDonald is the investigating officer.

* July 23 -- A resident on Rural Route 2 reported a weed eater was missing from their property. LPD Patrolman Debbie McDonald is the investigating officer.

* July 23 -- A resident on Rural Route 2 reported an unknown subject threw fireworks at their residence around 3:30 a.m. and then around 6:30 a.m. took a plastic container and threw mud on one end of their residence. LPD Patrolman Debbie McDonald is the investigating officer.

* July 23 -- The theft of a silver Mongoose bicycle was reported. LPD Patrolman Debbie McDonald is the investigating officer.

* July 23 -- No injuries were reported after an accident involving two vehicles on state Road 54 West and Carol Ave. A witness advised that when one vehicle was turning into Carol Ave., another vehicle attempted to pass on the right side of the road and sideswiped the turning vehicle. LPD Patrolman Heath Murray was the investigating officer.
