The Linton Police Department's activity log for Monday included one title check, one request for information only, one assist to the utility department, one sex offense-other, one vehicle fire, one accident with property damage, one lost and found, three medical/illnesses, three animal complaints, four harassment complaints, one bicycle theft, one welfare check/concern and two traffic stops.
* July 28 -- A resident reported their son's bicycle had been stolen from the city park about three days earlier. It was a bright green BMX with a lock around the seat. The LPD had a similar bicycle at the station that the resident might be able to identify. LPD Patrolman Heath Murray was the investigating officer.
* July 28 -- A male resident in a disagreement with another man over a car advised police that a new restraining order against a Sullivan resident was in effect. LPD Patrolman Heath Murray is the investigating officer.
