She was born March 15, 1913 in Bucktown in Sullivan County and resided in Anderson since 1939.
Mildred retired from Delco Remy Division of General Motors Plant 2 in the cafeteria after 18 years of service. She was a member of Jehovah's Witnessess South Congregation.
She is survived by her daughter, Barbara (Forrest Presnell) Higginbotham of Anderson; son, Dan (Mary) Dunbar of Anderson; brother, Dale (Betty) Bedwell of Pendleton; son-in-law, Jack Brandon of Ft. Wayne; grandchildren, Tom (Cindy) Fritz of Athens Alabama, Coni (Roger) Barlow of Pinehurst, Texas, Vicky (Bob) Post of Pendleton, Timothy (Kari) Fritz of Loveland, Colorado, Amy Ellis (Roy) of Anderson, Camy (Tim) Rogers of Ft. Wayne, Jay (Sally) Brandon of Ft. She was preceded in death by her husband, Leslie Dunbar who passed away May 11, 1989; parents, Daniel and Rose (Goodman) Bedwell; daughter, Anna Jane Brandon; grandson, Barry Alan Fritz and great grandson, Jeremy Fritz.
Visitation will be from 11 a.m.-1 p.m.on Thursday at Robert D. Loose Funeral Homes & Crematory, South Chapel; 200 W. 53rd Street, Anderson.
Services will be Thursday at 1:00 PM, at the funeral home with Forrest Higginbotham officiating.
Cremation will take place with burial at Memorial Park at a later date.
There will be a memorial service at Kingdom Hall; 5719 South Madison Avenue; Anderson on Saturday at 1 p.m. with Joe Kingery officiating.
