Hildred Geneva (Campbell) Kent, 83, of Solsberry, passed away at 8:52 a.m. Tuesday Aug. 5, 2008 at her residence.
Born June 24, 1925 in Solsberry she was the daughter of Troy and Mary Geneva (Crane) Campbell.
She was retired from RCA in Bloomington with 36 years as a group leader. She was a 1943 graduate of Solsberry High School and a member of the Solsberry Christian Church, Solsberry Eastern Star, and Solsberry American Legion Auxiliary.
Surviving relatives include: two sons, Leon Corbin (Mary) of Washington; Lane Corbin (Shirley) of Solsberry; two step children, Carolyn Barger (Charlie) of Deputy and Ted Kent (Janice) of Solsberry; six grandchildren; and 10 great grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by two twin brothers Ronald and Rodney Campbell; one son, Leonard Corbin; her husband, Paul Kent; one sister, Kathleen Cooksey; and her parents.
There will be a memorial service at 4 p.m. on Friday at the Solsberry Christian Church with Rev. Byron Williams officiating. Burial will follow at Solsberry Cemetery.The Solsberry Eastern Star service will start at 4 p.m. on Friday
In lieu of flowers the family wishes all donations be made to the Solsberry Christian Church.
There will be no visitation.
