Richard J. "Dick" Keller, 67, of Bloomington passed away Monday, Aug. 4, 2008 at Bloomington Hospital.
Born Jan. 14, 1941 in Vincennes, he was the son of Vincent and Florence Keller.
He retired after 29 years with Ameritech. He served four years in the United States Air Force and was a member of the American Legion and Elks Lodge. He was also a member of St. John Catholic Church in Vincennes.
Survivors include: his wife, Rita Keller of Bloomington; two children, Juli Carpenter and husband, Todd of Bloomington and Rick Keller of Dallas, TX; two granddaughters, Megan Carpenter and Jessica Carpenter, both of Bloomington; a brother, Ed Keller and wife, Norma, of Lebanon; a sister, Maricia Mossman and husband, Jim, of Lebanon; father-in-law and mother-in-law Dan and Maxine Jones of Bloomington; and several nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents.
Services will be at 10 a.m. Saturday at St. John the Apostle Catholic Church with Rev. Michael Fritsch officiating. Burial will be in Clear Creek Cemetery.
Visitation will be from 4-8 p.m. Friday at Deremiah-Frye Mortuary, Greene & Harrell Chapel in Bloomington and one-hour prior to service at the church on Saturday .
Memorial contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society or the Monroe County Humane Society. Military graveside rites will be conducted by the Veteran's Honor Guard.
