JAIL LOG

* Sept. 1 -- Charles A. Rentschler, 29, Solsberry, was arrested on a body attachment and was released on Sept. 2 on $500 bond.

* Sept. 2 -- Tamara S. Marsh, 45, Bloomfield, was arrested on a preliminary charge of invasion of privacy and was being held without bond. Greene County Sheriff's Deputy Leon Dunigan was the arresting officer.

LINTON POLICE DEPARTMENT

ACTIVITY LOG

The Linton Police Department's activity log on Tuesday included one breaking and entering, one request for information only, one custody dispute/exchange, one school/foot patrol, one loitering, two accidents with property damage, two medical/illness, three animal complaints, one suspicious vehicle/person, one assist to another agency, one traffic control, three extra patrols, one bicycle theft, one motor vehicle theft, two domestic disputes - neighbors, one community relations, one ordinance violation and two traffic stops.

* Sept. 2 -- An incident of breaking and entering into an abandoned residence on RR 2 was reported. The front door had been forced open but nothing was taken and no other damage noted. LPD Patrolman Karl Jacobshagen was the investigating officer.

* Sept. 2 -- A resident on RR 2 reported the theft of a gold Mongoose bicycle sometime between Aug. 30-Sept. 2. The seat of the bike was ripped on the back side, the gooseneck had nicks on it, the tires had flames on them, the ends of the handlebar grips were missing and the right side peg was slightly bent. LPD Cpl. Chad Crynes is the investigating officer.
