* Sept. 3 -- Pete O. Langley, 28, Clay City, was arrested on a warrant from another county and was being held without bond.



The Linton Police Department's activity log for Wednesday included one title check, two requests for information only, one drug investigation, one school/foot patrol, one brush fire, one missing or runaway juvenile, two medical/illness, one alarm, one animal complaint, two suspicious vehicles/persons, two thefts-other, one bicycle theft, two domestic disputes-neighbors, one ordinance violation and six traffic stops.

* Sept. 3 -- A drive-off theft was reported by Jim's Petro Plus station on A St. N.E. after a 5'4"-5'6" rude man with tatoos pumped $60 worth of gasoline into a light-colored SUV then left without paying around 8:30 p.m. LPD Patrolman Jayson Smith is the investigating officer.

* Sept. 3 -- A resident reported a theft of various items from their Jeep including a factory radio. LPD Patrolman Heath Murray is the investigating officer.

* Sept. 3 -- A resident on G St. N.W. reported a bicycle had been stolen from their residence about two weeks ago. It was an older 26" green Huffy touring three-speed bike with some rust, a seat altered with blue rubber springs, headlight, tailight, rear view mirror and a small saddle bag under the handlebars.
