GREENE COUNTY SHERIFF'S DEPARTMENT

JAIL LOG

* Sept. 23 -- Matthew P. Kelm, 35, Dugger, was arrested on a body attachment, released on $500 bond and scheduled to appear iin court on Sept. 29. Greene County Sheriff's Special Deputy Matthew Newby was the arresting officer.

* Sept. 23 -- Theresa M. Vernon, 21, Bloomington, was arrested on a warrant, released on $5,000 bond and scheduled to appear in court on Sept. 29. Greene County Sheriff's Deputy John Fowler was the arresting officer.

* Sept. 23 -- Patricia S. Brenden, 37, Jasonville, was arrested on a warrant, released on $5,000 bond and scheduled to appear in court on Sept. 29. Greene County Sheriff's Deputy Leon Dunigan was the arresting officer.

ACTIVITY LOG

The Linton Police Department's activity log for Tuesday included one follow-up investigation, one vandalism, one protective order violation, one drug investigation, one incident of criminal mischief, one accident with property damage, one lost and found, five medical/illness, four animal complaints, two suspicious vehicles/persons, three assists to other agencies, three thefts-other, one fingerprint for a gun permit, one open garage door and five traffic stops.

* Sept. 23 -- A resident reported an incident of criminal mischief at the Free Parking Lot around 9 p.m. when they were sitting in a car talking to a friend. A black truck pulled up behind the car and a male subject got out and approached and started yelling. The subject then started hitting and kicking the car. As the resident drove away, the subject was still kicking the car. LPD Officer Jayson Smith is the investigating officer.

* Sept. 23 -- The Linton-Stockton School Corporation reported vandalism at the Scout Cabin. LPD Det. Duane Collenbaugh is the investigating officer.

* Sept. 23 -- A resident reported an incident of invasion of privacy/protective order violation around 1:45 p.m. LPD Officer Karl Jacobshagen was the investigating officer.

* Sept. 23 -- The Country Porch gas station reported a theft after a female driver pumped $20 worth of gasoline into a tan Buick SUV then left without paying around 2:50 p.m. LPD Officer Karl Jacobshagen was the investigating officer.

* Sept. 23 -- A resident on NE A St. reported tablets of hydrocodone and some cash were taken from their residence but there no signs of forced entry. LPD Cpl. Chad Crynes was the investigating officer.
