LINTON POLICE DEPARTMENT
The Linton Police Department's activity report for Thursday included two requests for information only, one fight, one school/foot patrol, one accident with property damage, two medical/illness, one alarm, one prowler, one suspicious vehicle/person, one assist to another agency, one possibly intoxicated driver, one theft-other, one disabled/stranded vehicle, one fingerprint for a gun permit, one ordinance violation and two traffic stops.
* Sept. 25 -- Police are investigating a theft of over $600 cash money that belonged to the Women of the Moose Lodge in Linton. According to the police report, the theft occurred sometime after 10:15 p.m. on Sept. 23 and before 3:40 p.m. on Sept. 24. The money had been placed in a safety box inside a file cabinet in the Women's office. Items missing included $676.70 cash, a CD savings document and a couple of money bags. LPD Cpl. Paul Clark is the investigating officer.
GREENE COUNTY SHERIFF'S DEPARTMENT
* Sept. 25 -- Kay Snyder, 27, residence unknown, was arrested on a warrant. Greene County Sheriff's Department Deputy John Fowler was the arresting officer.
