GREENE COUNTY SHERIFF'S DEPARTMENT

JAIL LOG

* Sept. 26 -- Amanda M. McGinnis, 21, Linton, was arrested on a preliminary charge of battery with bodily injury, released on $1,000 bond on Sept. 27 and scheduled to appear in court on Oct. 3. Linton Police Department Det. Josh Goodman was the arresting officer.

* Sept. 26 -- Arrik W. McGinnis, 22, Linton, was arrested on a preliminary charge of battery with bodily injury and was being held on $1,000 bond. Linton Police Department Det. Josh Goodman was the arresting officer.

* Sept. 26 -- Matthew D. Moore, 30, Linton, was arrested on a preliminary charge of being an habitual traffic violator, released on $4,000 bond and scheduled to appear in court on Oct. 3. Linton Police Department Cpl. Paul Clark was the arresting officer.

* Sept. 27 -- Dustin W. Gorby, 26, Jasonville, was arrested on preliminary charges of operating a vehicle while intoxicated, released on $4,000 bond and scheduled to appear in court on Oct. 3. Jasonville Police Department Officer Danny Keller was the arresting officer.

* Sept. 27 -- Brandon D. Helms, 22, Lyons, was arrested on preliminary charges of operating a vehicle while intoxicated and released on Sept. 28.

* Sept. 27 -- Paul L. Johns, 45, Sprinfield, Ohio, was arrested on a warrant and was being held without bond. Greene County Sheriff's Reserve Deputy Rick Marques was the arresting officer.

* Sept. 27 -- Robert J. Henderson, 44, Bloomfield, was arrested on a preliminary charge of invasion of privacy and was being held without bond. Bloomfield Deputy Marshal Harvey Holt was the arresting officer.

* Sept. 28 -- Carla J. Wuchner, 46, Indianapolis, was arrested on preliminary charges of operating a vehicle while intoxicated with a prior conviction and was being held on $8,000 bond. Indiana State Police Trooper Eric Russell was the arresting officer.

ACTIVITY LOG

The Linton Police Department's activity log for Friday through Sunday included one illegal burn, one follow-up investigation, six requests for information only, one fight, two assists to the utility department after hours, one incident of vandalism, one custody dispute/exchange, one public intoxication, one disorderly conduct, one structure fire, two transports of documentation, four accidents with property damage, seven medical/illness, two alarms, four animal complaints, three suspicious vehicles/persons, one assist to another agency, two harassment complaints, two reckless drivers, two extra patrols, four thefts-other, one bicycle theft, one missing person-adult, two domestic disputes, one community relations, three ordinance violations and 15 traffic stops.

* Sept. 26 -- Two people were arrested after police were dispatched to the scene of a domestic dispute at 3:21 p.m. When police arrived at a residence located at 180 NE E St., Arrik W. McGinnis, 22, and Amanda M. McGinnis, 21, both had injuries. According to the police report, both admitted to striking or grabbing each other. The report notes that the incident had taken place in the presence of two small children. Greene County CPS (Child Protective Services) was contacted and responded. LPD Det. Josh Goodman was the investigating officer. Reserve Officer Randy Rainey assisted on the scene.
