Born March 1, 1934 in Solsberry, she was the daughter of Wayne "Buck" and Gertie (Sherrow) Yoho.
She worked at Sarkes Tarzian in Bloomington and Eastern Greene Schools, retiring after 24 years of service. She was a member of the Solsberry Christian Church.
Surviving relatives include her husband William "Bill" Thacker of Solsberry, a son, Greg Thacker and his wife Belinda of Solsberry; a daughter, Lisa Clark and her husband Joel of Hobbieville; four grandchildren, Taryn Thacker of Bloomington, Braden Thacker of Chicago, Zach Clark and Tanner Clark, both of Hobbieville; one sister, Pearl Rollins of Bloomfield; three brothers, Bob Yoho and his wife Francis, Walt Yoho and his wife Vicki, Jim Yoho and his wife Joy all of Bloomfield; two sister-in-laws Kathleen Yoho of Bloomfield, and Susie Rainey and husband Fred of Bloomington; one brother-in-law, Kermit Inman of Bloomington; and many cousins, nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents, one brother Glen Yoho, and one sister Carol Sims
Friends may call from 4 to 8 p.m. on Friday and Saturday from 10 a.m. until the hour of service at the Solsberry Christian Church.
Services will be at 11 a.m. on Saturday at the church with Rev. Byron Williams and Rev. Aaron Miller officiating. Burial will follow at Solsberry Cemetery.
In Lieu of Flowers the family wishes all donations be made to the Solsberry Cemetery Association or Solsberry Christian Church Outreach.
Arrangement have been entrusted to the Jenkins Funeral Home in Bloomfield.
