Dorothy Jean McAtee, 72, of Greene County, passed away 9:30 p.m. Wednesday, Oct. 8, 2008 at Prairie Village Nursing and Rehabilitation Center in Washington.
Born Nov. 29, 1935 in Jasonville, she was the daughter of Virgil and Mary (Reeves) Rutledge.
She was a homemaker and a member of the Jasonville Church of Christ.
Surviving relatives include: two sons, John McAtee and Robert McAtee both of Bloomington; one daughter, April Wise of Spencer; two brothers, Virgil Rutledge, Jr. of Tipton and Tom Rutledge of Jasonville; one sister, Betty Schulz of Jasonville; and two granddaughters, Jessica McAtee of Bloomington and Amber McAtee of Decatur.
She was preceded in death by her parents, one brother, Jim Rutledge, and two sisters, Virginia Mills and Rosie Stevens.
Services will be conducted 1 p.m. Saturday at Jenkins & Sons Funeral Home in Bloomfield with Rev. Raymond New officiating.
A private interment service will be held at a later date in Newark Cemetery in rural Solsberry.
