LINTON POLICE DEPARTMENT
The Linton Police Department's activity log for Monday included one request for information only, one incident of vandalism, one drug investigation, one school/foot patrol, one public intoxication, five medical/illness, four assists to other agencies, one harassment complaint, one possibly intoxicated driver, one motor vehicle theft, one fingerprint for a gun permit, one assist to the fire department and one battery.
* Oct. 20 -- A resident reported an incident of criminal mischief after they noticed key damage to both sides of their vehicle and a damaged mirror. The vehicle had been parked at the Parkview Lanes bowling alley. LPD Officer Karl Jacobshagen was the investigating officer.
* Oct. 20 -- A resident of Mobile Manor reported his moped had been stolen during the time he was in rehabilitation in a nursing home. The gray 2005 50 cc scooter had been parked outside his residence. The right mirror was missing on the scooter and it had damage on the front end and a grocery basket on the back. LPD Karl Jacobshagen is the investigating officer.
* Oct. 20 -- A battery was reported by an employee of Taco Bell who reported that while she was at work, her ex-boyfriend had shown up and thrown a pop at her, striking her in the face. LPD Officer Karl Jacobshagen was the investigating officer.
