Timothy Scott Mercier, 48, of Bloomington passed away Wednesday Oct. 15, 2008 at the Bloomington Hospital.
Born Sept. 8, 1960 in Bloomington he was the son of George and Luetta Furhman Mercier.
He graduated from Bloomington North High School in 1978 and from Indiana University in 1984. He was a charter member of Faith Lutheran Church. He was also very active in various professional and personal organizations including the Geological Society of Indiana, the International Bottled Water Association, the Water Quality Association, the Shelby American Auto Club as well as the Crusi'n Classics Auto Club. He spent his entire professional career as co-owner of Crystal Pure Water and Air Systems in Bloomington.
Survivors include his parents, George and Luetta Furhman Mercier of Bloomington; a sister, Michelle Mercier and her fiancÚ Freddy DeShon of Atlanta, Georgia; longtime and close personal friend and business partner Melba Leach and her daughter Alexis; as well as numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, loving friends and business associates.
Services will be at 2 p.m. Saturday at Faith Lutheran Church.
Visitation will be held at the Allen Funeral Home in Bloomington from 4-8 p.m. Friday and from 1:30 p.m. until time of the service on Saturday at the church.
Memorial contributions may be made to the Faith Lutheran Church Building Fund.
