* Oct. 28 -- Brian E. Carpenter, 36, Linton, was arrested on a warrant for a petition to revoke and was being held without bond. Linton Police Cpl. Chad E. Crynes was the arresting officer.

The Linton Police Department's activity log for Tuesday included two assists to the utility department after hours, one incident of vandalism, one custody dispute/exchange, one drug investigation, one missing or runaway juvenile, one lost and found, two alarms, one animal complaint, one theft-other, one arrest-wanted on warrant and three traffic stops.
* Oct. 28 -- Brian E. Carpenter, 36, Linton, was arrested around 11:39 p.m. on a warrant issued on a petition to revoke in connection with charges involving operating a vehicle while intoxicated. An officer on patrol observed Carpenter walking west on SE C St. in the area of SE 9th St. and was aware of the warrant. Carpenter was taken into custody without incident and transported to Greene County Jail where he was being held without bond. LPD Cpl. Chad E. Crynes was the arresting officer.
