GREENE COUNTY SHERIFF'S DEPARTMENT

* Oct. 31 -- No injuries were reported in a car-deer accident at 7:53 a.m. on State Road 157S at County Road 140N. Toni Churchill, 54, Cloverdale, was northbound on the highway in a 2003 Kia when the deer came off an embankment and ran into the side of the vehicle. Greene County Sheriff's Reserve Officer Karen Oliphant was the investigating officer.

JAIL LOG

* Oct. 31 -- Troy D. Breedlove, 28, Solsberry, was arrested on preliminary charges of possession of marijuana in an amount over 30 grams and possession of paraphernalia and was being held on $9,000 bond. Greene County Sheriff's Det. George Dallaire was the arresting officer.

* Oct. 31 -- Eric S. Breedlove, 26, Springville, was arrested on preliminary charges of possession of marijuana in an amount over 30 grams and possession of paraphernalia and was being held on $23,500 bond. Greene County Sheriff's Det. George Dallaire was the arresting officer.

* Oct. 31 -- Jackie S. Stockwell, 47, Farmersburg, was arrested on a warrant, released on $4,000 bond and scheduled to appear in court on Nov. 7. Greene County Sheriff Terry Pierce was the arresting officer.

* Oct. 31 -- Jess Stockwell, 50, Farmersburg, was arrested on a warrant, released on $4,000 bond and scheduled to appear in court on Nov. 7. Greene County Sheriff Terry Pierce was the arresting officer.

* Oct. 31 -- Scott W. Jones, 50, Jasonville, was arrested on a preliminary charge of operating a vehicle while intoxicated with a prior, released on $8,000 bond on Nov. 1 and scheduled to appear in court on Nov. 7. Jasonville Police Reserve Officer Husband was the arresting officer.

* Oct. 31 -- Roy M. Arthur, 25, Worthington, was arrested on a warrant issued on a petition to revoke and was being held without bond. Greene County Sheriff's Lt. Brian Woodall was the arresting officer.

* Nov. 1 -- Paul R. McCormick, 18, Lewis, was arrested on preliminary charges of operating a motor vehicle without ever receiving a license and was being held on $500 bond. Jasonville Police Officer Ryan VanHorn was the arresting officer.

* Nov. 1 -- Michael W. Fahey, 34, Indianapolis, was arrested on a preliminary charge of contempt and was being held on $750 bond.

* Nov. 1 -- Brian A. Ramsey, 19, Sellersburg, was arrested on preliminary charges of operating a vehicle while intoxicated with a prior conviction and illegal possession of alcohol and was being held on $8,500 bond. Worthington Deputy Marshal Don Richardson was the arresting officer.

* Nov. 2 -- Robert D. Mullis, Jr., 33, Bloomington, was arrested on a body attachment and was being held on $500 bond.

LINTON POLICE DEPARTMENT

ACTIVITY LOG

The Linton Police Department's activity log for Friday through Sunday included one breaking and entering, one fraud, one title check, one follow-up investigation, seven requests for information only, one fight, four assists to the utility department after hours, two incidents of vandalism, one protective order violation, four school/foot patrols, one death investigation, two structure fires, one brush fire, one missing/runaway juvenile, two accidents with personal injury, three accidents with property damage, one funeral escort, one lost and found, one off-road vehicle complaint, seven medical/illness, two alarms, one prowler, two suspicious vehicles/persons, two assists to other agencies, four harassment complaints, two possibly intoxicated drivers, one extra patrol, two disabled/stranded vehicle, one fingerprint for a gun permit, two domestic disputes, one battery and three traffic stops.

* Oct. 23 -- Police have been investigating a drive-off theft that occurred around 7:30 p.m. at the Country Porch gas station on State Road 54W. A male in an older blue Ford Ranger first attempted to use a credit card at the pump but the cash registers in the gas station were down for approximately 10 minutes. The male then pumped $15 worth of fuel then drove off. LPD Officer Heath Murray is the investigating officer.

* Nov. 1 -- A resident in the 1100 block of Roosevelt St. reported someone had gained entry to their home between 5:30 p.m. and 10 p.m. while they were gone on Oct. 31. Their back door was standing open and entry had been made but nothing was noticed as missing. LPD Cpl. Paul Clark was the investigating officer.
