Elizabeth Angeline Ketchem, 91, of Linton passed away at 10:15 a.m. Wednesday, Nov. 5, 2008 at the Glenburn Home, Linton.
She was born Oct. 9, 1917, in Martin County, to James Thomas and Sarah Elizabeth (Sanders) Elsey. She married Perry Laymon Ketchem on Dec. 24, 1934, and he died July 2, 1998.
She was of Methodist faith and had attended Loogootee schools.
Surviving are two daughters and a son, Bonnie Berniece Browning, South Bend; Judy Kay Ketchem, Lyons; Richard Wayne Ketchem, Ocala, Fla., 19 grandchildren, 30 great-grandchildren and six great-great grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by two daughters, Norma E. Mattingly, Virginia L. McColl; two sons, Robert L. Ketchem and George O. Ketchem; one grandson, Monte Allenbaugh Jr.; one great-granddaughter Ashley Dawn Squire; four sisters and six brothers.
Services will be at 1:30 p.m. Sunday at Gill Chapel in Washington with burial to follow in Sugarland Memory Gardens near Washington.
Friends may call from 4 p.m. to 8 p.m. Saturday and after 11 a.m. Sunday at the funeral home.
