LINTON POLICE DEPARTMENT
The Linton Police Department's activity log for Thursday included one assist to the utility department after hours, one school/foot patrol, three accidents with personal injury, one accident with property damage, one medical/illness, one alarm, one prowler, one assist to another agency, one theft-other and two domestic disputes.
* Nov. 6 -- A resident reported that prescription medication was missing out of the glove box of his vehicle after it was left unlocked in the parking lot of Goody's store on State Road 54E. LPD Officer Debbie McDonald is the investigating officer.
* Nov. 7 -- Police are investigating an attempted burglary at the Dairy Queen on S.R. 54W which occurred around 2:45 a.m. A neighbor called police after hearing a loud bang coming from the business. Officers found windows broken and secured the scene. Nothing was found missing at the time. Police believe a black passenger car with a loud exhaust may have been involved. LPD Officer Heath Murray is the investigating officer.
