Born March 29, 1928 in Clay County, he was the son of James and Gladys (Crist) Miller.
He was married September 13, 1953 to Lois (Keller) Miller
He was a self-employed farmer and was member of the White River Valley Antique Association since 1988. He served on the Peavey Cemetery Board for many years and currently was the board president.
Survivors include: his wife, Lois Miller of Jasonville; daughter and son-in-law, Vickie and Larry Swalls of Jasonville; son and daughter-in-law, Rick and Susan Miller of Jasonville; grandchildren, Christa and David Beckes, Stacy and Brian Gilbert, Ashley Swalls, Josh and Chrissy Betts and Luke Miller; great grandchildren, Megan and Noah Gilbert, Nathaniel Beckes, Allison and Austin Betts; sisters and brothers-in-law, Phyllis and Ernie Huber of Terre Haute, Shirley and Don Graham of Cloverdale, Judy and Bob Johnson of Terre Haute; brothers and sisters-in-law, Chester and Sue Miller of Indianapolis, Paul and Marilyn Miller of San Clemente, CA.
He was preceded in death by his parents; two brothers, Kenney Miller and Glenn Miller; two sisters, Irene Ammerman and Maxine Riggs.
Visitation will be 5-8 p.m. Friday and from 9 a.m. until service time Saturday at McClanahan-Lee Funeral Home in Jasonville.
Services will be at 1 p.m. Saturday at the funeral home with Pastor Chris McKinney officiating.
Burial will be in Peavey Cemetery in Howesville.
