Geneva Harper, 96, of Solsberry, passed away at 3:15 a.m. on Sunday, Nov. 23, 2008 at Garden Villa in Bloomington.
Born August 7, 1912 in Greene County, she was the daughter of Curtis and Laura (Burch) Price.
She was a homemaker and a member of the Sylvania Wesleyan Church.
Surviving relatives include one son Marvin Harper and his wife Connie of Solsberry. Eight grandchildren, eleven great grandchildren, and three great great grandsons. Two brothers Calvin Price and Richard Price both of Bloomfield. One son-in-law Bob Crowe, and one daughter-in-law Kayarper both of Solsberry.
She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Charles Harper; one son, Keith Harper; one daughter, Una Crowe; three sisters; three brothers; and one great-great grandson.
Friends may call from 2 to 8 p.m. on Tuesday and 10 a.m. Wednesday until the hour at Jenkins Funeral Home in Bloomfield.
Services will be at 11 a.n. on Wednesday at the funeral home with Rev. Dave Taylor officiating. Burial will follow at Sylvania Cemetery.
