James B. Isenogle, 78, of Avon , passed away Wednesday, Dec. 18, 2008 at the Westside Garden Plaza Skilled Care Facility.
He was born in Scotland, Ind. on May 23, 1930 to the late Charles and Amy Isenogle.
Jim was a graduate of Scotland High School and served his country in the United States Air Force from 1951 to 1955. After the Air Force, Jim was employed by Indiana Bell Telephone Company (AT&T / Lucent Technologies) for 30 years and retired in 1985.
Jim is survived by his wife of 53 years, Inge Isenogle and their son and daughter-in-law Stephen & Rena Isenogle of St. Louis, Mo. and their children Sarah, Spencer and Grace; and by his sister, Norma Isenogle of Greenwood.
Jim was preceded in death by his parents, two sisters Maysel Lloyd, Mary Opal Asdell, and one brother Charles Lee Isenogle.
Visitation will be from noon to 2 p.m. Sunday at Jenkins & Sons Funeral Home in Bloomfield. A brief grave site service will follow at the Scotland Cemetery in Scotland.
