He was born December 6, 1931 in Jasonville, to Ralph Faught and Laura McNeely Faught
Dale was a member of Shakamak Communty Church in Jasonville, a U.S. Navy veteran and a member of Jasonville American Legion Post #172, Dale worked at the Brazil Brick Plant for several years before becoming Owner/Operator of the Sinclair Gas Station in Jasonville which he owned and operated for the next 20 plus years. He then managed two different Mini-marts for Jack Ridinger before his retirement.
Survivors include his wife of 53 years-Mary Jane (Burkett) Faught of Jasonville, whom he married Dec/ 10, 1955; daughters: Jane Ann Brown of Indianapolis and Jan Smith and Shawn McKinley of Jasonville; son and daughter-in-law, Joe Dale and Beth Faught of Coalmont; sisters: Judy Marsh of Jasonville and Pansy Pierce of Indianapolis; brothers: Jim Faught of Jasonville, Ben Faught of Nashville, TN and Richard Faught of Kissimmee, FL; grandchildren: Nicholas Faught, Lacey Netherlain, Kristin Wade and Haley McKinley; step-grandchildren: April Gorby and Justice St.John; great grandchildren, Devin Steinstra, Kayne Wade, Owen Faught and Drake Netherlain; step-great grandchildren, Guyler Gorby and Kaylynn Gorby; several nieces and nephews and special friends, Kelsey and Kylee Soncrant
He was preceded in death by his parents; sister, Mae Bohnert; and brothers, John Faught, Paul Faught and Danny Faught.
Visitation will be 5 - 8 p.m. Tuesday and 9 a.m. until service time Wednesday at McClanahan-Lee Funeral Home in Jasonville.
Funeral will be conducted at 1 p.m. Wednesday at the funeral home with Pastor Chris McKinney officiating.
Interment will be in Lebanon Cemetery at Midland.
