*Jan. 14 -- Keith E. Fields, 46, Linton, was arrested on a warrant and was being held on $8,000 bond. Indiana State Police Trooper Byron Goodman was the arresting officer.

*Jan. 14 -- Melodie R. Atkins, 32, Owensburg, was arrested on a warrant and was being held on $4,500 bond.



The Linton Police Department's activity log for Wednesday included one assist to the utility department after hours, one accident with personal injury, two accidents with property damage, one lost and found, one medical/illness, one alarm, two assists to other agencies, one possibly intoxicated driver, one traffic control detail, one attempted burglary, one welfare check/concern, one fingerprint for a gun permit and one traffic stop.

* Jan. 14 -- A Switz City resident reported their wallet was missing. When the woman left the Linton Super Walmart store around 7:45 p.m. on Jan. 13, she left her wallet in a shopping cart. She drove back to the store in an attempt to locate the wallet but was unsuccessful. Items in the wallet included her driver's license, debit cards, starter checks, social security cards for herself and two children and insurance cards. LPD Cpl. Chad Crynes was the investigating officer.

* Jan. 14 -- No injuries were reported as a result of an accident involving two vehicles in the parking lot of the City Pest Control. One vehicle slid into the back end of another on a snow-covered driveway. LPD Officer Karl Jacobshagen was the investigating officer.
