Dale Richard Bruhn, 73, of Worthington, IN, passed away on Jan. 14, 2009, at Bloomington Hospital.
He was born October 10, 1935, in Bemidji, MN.
Dale was a U. S. Marine Corp veteran and served during the Korean Conflict. He greatly enjoyed the outdoors, and was a heavy construction equipment operator until retirement.
Survivors include his wife, Anna (Plachy) Bruhn; former wife and close friend Evelyn (Stancombe) Price of Newberry ; sons, Donald Ray of Xenia, OH, and Mark Steven, of Williams,; daughters, Victoria Bruhn of Yale, MI, and Brenda Blevins of Lawrenceville, IL; stepchildren Kathy, Roberts of Springfield, MO, Teresa Lewis of West Bend, WI, Linda Newman of Springfield, MO, Christiana Kettwich of Ureka, IL, and Kenneth Murvin of WI; and numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents Raymond ("Dutch") and Ruth (Jaycox) Bruhn, and one young son, Lawrence Dale.
A private family viewing was held.
The family expresses their sincere appreciation for all of the kind words and prayers from friends.
He will be buried at Ortonville Cemetery, Ortonville, MI, alongside his son Lawrence.
