Betty Sachs, 83, of Franklin and formerly of Bloomfield, passed away at 3:05 a.m. on Jan. 29, 2009 at the Franklin United Methodist Community in Franklin, Ind.
Born Aug. 23, 1925 in Bowling Green, Ind., she was the daughter of Ross and Viola (Houk) Huber.
Betty was the bookkeeper for the Bloomfield Woolen Company, and she also worked as a legal secretary of Prosecutor David Holt.
Betty was a member of the Order of Eastern Star # 538, and the Happy Workers Homemakers Club both of Bloomfield.
Friends may call from 4 to 8 p.m. on Wednesday, Feb. 4, and Thursday from 1:30 p.m. until the hour of service at Jenkins Funeral Home in Bloomfield.
The Bloomfield Eastern Star will have a Star Service Wednesday evening at the funeral home.
Service will be at 2:30 p.m. on Thursday at the funeral home with Rev. Mary Ann Macklin officiating. Burial will follow at Grandview Cemetery in Bloomfield.
The family wishes all donations be made to the Alzheimers Association. Envlopes will be available at the funeral home.
