* Feb. 6 -- Bradley A. Burnstein, 26, Bloomington, was arrested on a preliminary charge of possession of marijuana, released on Feb. 7 on $1,000 bond and scheduled to appear in court on Feb. 13. Bloomfield Deputy Marshal Harvey Holt was the arresting officer.

* Feb. 6 -- Raymond E. Bixler, 47, Linton, was arrested on a warrant, released on Feb. 7 on $14,500 bond and scheduled to appear in court on Feb. 13. Indiana State Police Trooper Eric Russell was the arresting officer.

* Feb. 6 -- Joshua R. Flynn, 22, Springville, was arrested on preliminary charges of residential burglary and theft and was being held in lieu of $19,000 bond. Greene County Sheriff's Det. George Dallaire was the arresting officer.

* Feb. 6 -- Eydan K. Brown, 40, Indianapolis, was arrested on a warrant then released on $5,000 bond. Greene County Special Deputy Lee Condol was the arresting officer.

* Feb. 7 -- Shari L. Sanders, 46, Jasonville, was arrested on preliminary charges of dealing in methamphetamine, possession of methamphetamine with a firearm, possession of precursors, maintaining a common nuisance, possession of stolen property and possession of marijuana and was being held without bond. Jasonville Police Officer Ryan VanHorn was the arresting officer.

* Feb. 7 -- Nicholas A. Kirkley, 19, Newberry, was arrested on a preliminary charge of possession of marijuana, released on Feb. 8 on $1,000 bond and scheduled to appear in court on Feb. 13. Bloomfield Deputy Marshal Harvey Holt was the arresting officer.

* Feb. 7 -- Charles T. Henderson, 18, Jasonville, was arrested on preliminary charges of two counts of aiding in theft, released on Feb. 8 on $8,000 bond and scheduled to appear in court on Feb. 13. Linton Police Det. Josh Goodman was the arresting officer.

* Feb. 7 -- James T. Kennett, 19, Jasonville, was arrested on a preliminary charge of possession of stolen property, released on Feb. 8 on $4,000 bond and scheduled to appear in court on Feb. 13. Linton Police Det. Josh Goodman was the arresting officer.

* Feb. 7 -- Tyler R. Turley, 20, Jasonville, was arrested on a preliminary charge of possession of stolen property, released on Feb. 8 on $4,000 bond and scheduled to appear in court on Feb. 13. Linton Police Det. Josh Goodman was the arresting officer.

* Feb. 7 -- Chad A. * Feb. 7 -- Roger A. Burris, 18, Jasonville, was arrested on preliminary charges of two counts of theft, released on $8,000 bond and scheduled to appear in court on Feb. 13. Linton Police Det. Josh Goodman was the arresting officer.

* Feb. 7 -- Daniel R. Scott, 21, Jasonville, was arrested on a preliminary charge of theft, released on $4,000 bond and scheduled to appear in court on Feb. 13. Linton Police Det. Josh Goodman was the arresting officer.

* Feb. 8 -- Amber N. Greene, 22, Linton, was arrested on a preliminary charge of residential entry, released on $4,000 bond and scheduled to appear in court on Feb. 13. Linton Police Cpl. Paul Clark was the arresting officer.

* Feb. 8 -- Joshua W. Pittman, 29, Linton, was arrested on preliminary charges of operating a vehicle while intoxicated, released on $4,000 bond and scheduled to appear in court on Feb. 13. Greene County Sheriff's Deputy Jeremy Inman was the arresting officer.

ACTIVITY LOG

The Linton Police Department's activity log for Friday through Sunday included two incidents of trespassing, one of fraud, two title checks, one follow-up investigation, one request for information only, two assists to the utility department after hours, one vandalism, one custody dispute/exchange, one protective order violation, one drug investigation, one school/foot patrol, one public intoxication, three transports of documentation, two accidents with property damage, one escort to a bank, six medical/illness, four animal complaints, one suspicious vehicle/person, four assists to other agencies, one possibly intoxicated driver, two reckless drivers, one attempted burglary, three thefts-other, five domestic disputes, one shoplifting and two traffic stops.

* Feb. 8 -- Police are investigating the theft of a medium size Sony 1200-watt amp valued between $200-300. A rural resident reported it was taken from behind the driver's seat of their vehicle. It was described as red with black trim with "Explode" written on it. It had two outputs but one did not work. LPD Officer Debbie McDonald is the investigating officer.
