She was born Dec. 10, 1908, the daughter of Martin and Viola (Fines) Horn.
She resided in Greene County until 1998 when she moved to the Haywood Estates Retirement Center in Greenville, S.C. to be near her daughter and son-in-law.
She was a homemaker and helped her husband farm for 50 years. She attended Prairie Chapel United Methodist Church and was a former member of the Fairplay Friendly Neighbors Club.
She was married for 59 years and was preceded in death by her husband, Arthur; three sisters, Cora Bump, Nora Bloomer and Stella Secrest; and two brothers, Tim Horn and Dan Horn.
Survivors include one daughter and son-in-law, Mary Jo and Fred Del Toro; two granddaughters, Jeanne Marie of Greenville, S.C. and Nicole and husband, David George, of Charlotte, N.C.; two great-granddaughters, Sabre and Mercedies of Indianapolis; and several nieces.
Graveside services will be conducted 1 p.m. Sunday at Prairie Chapel Cemetery. Jenkins & Sons Funeral Home Bloomfield is in charge of local arrangements.
