Roy Theophlius Cole, Sr., 75, of Charlotte, MI, died Tuesday, March 24, 2009.

Hewas born February 25, 1934, in Bloomfield, IN, the son of Woodrow Hollars and Catherine Cole.

He was a longtime Charlotte Eagles Lodge member and past president. He was an owner of J.R.'s Native American Shop and previously was a driver for Brinks Armored Car.

He is survived by his wife, Goldie Cole; son, Roy Cole Jr. of Charlotte; sisters, Deloris Netwig of Troy, Ala., Viola Landis of Tennessee, Mildred Lapez of San Antonio, TX and Agnes Eaton of Indiana; brothers, Edgar Workman of Florida, Lee Ray Workman of Florida, Harry Workman of Bloomfield, IN, and Albert Workman of Tennessee.

He is preceded in death by his son, Dennis Cole in 1966.

Funeral service will be at 1 p.m. Saturday, March 28, 2009 at Pray Funeral Home with Pastor Chuck Jenson officiating.

Interment will be at Maple Hill Cemetery in Charlotte, MI.

Visitation will be Friday, 3-5 p.m. and 6-8 p.m. at Pray Funeral Home, Charlotte, MI.
