* April 2 -- Gregory A. Provo, 52, Worthington, was arrested on a preliminary charge of domestic battery and was being held on $1,000 bond. Worthington Deputy Marshal Don Richardson was the arresting officer.



The Linton Police Department's activity log for Wednesday included two fraud investigations, one school/foot patrol, one accident with property damage, one lost and found, one medical/illness, two animal complaints, one suspicious vehicle/person, two assists to other agencies, one extra patrol, one welfare check/concern, one arrest - wanted on warrant, one domestic dispute, one battery and three traffic stops.

* April 1 -- Timmerie B. Rose, 24, Linton, also known as Timmerie B. Mason, was arrested around 9:18 p.m. at her residence by LPD Cpl. Chad Crynes on a warrant /writ of attachment out of Sullivan County. Rose was transported to Sullivan County where her bond was set at $879.

* April 1 -- Police responded to the scene of a hit-and-run accident around 5:30 p.m. in the parking lot at the Dollar General Store. A resident said after parking a black 2005 Honda Pilot SUV and going into the store, they returned to find another vehicle had struck the rear driver's side area. The police report said there was minor damage to the bumper and rear fender area. LPD Cpl. Chad E. Crynes was the investigating officer.
