Born March 9, 1954 in Bloomington, she was the daughter of Emery "Buck" Porter and Barbara (Hamm) Porter.
Donna Sue was a homemaker and a member of the Newark Lighthouse Church. Donna Sue was the sweetest, strongest country girl I know, she always had a kind word to say or a song to sing, she was the best. We love you mom, 26 cents you can't lose us.
Survivors include: her mother,Barbara Porter, Solsberry; one son, Jeremiah Porter (Jenny), Bloomington; three daughters, Mariah Fisher (Dennis), Bloomington, Melissa Gunnels (Brian Sciscoe), Solsberry and Michelle Jones (J.R.), Solsberry, 13 grandchildren, Autumn, J.J., Dylan, Ethan, Hanna, Joey, Jessica, Emma, Dustin, Lacey, Dakota, Hope and Brianna; five brothers, Eddie Porter, Solsberry, Jim Porter, Spencer, Terry Porter, Spencer, Tony Porter, Solsberry, Mike Porter, Solsberry; six sisters, Diana Porter, Bloomington, Brenda Porter, Bloomington, Connie Alsman, Bloomfield, Debbie Medina, Kentucky, Lisa Rambo, Bowling Green, Ind. and Tammy Garcia, Greenwood; as well as several nieces and nephews
She was preceded in death by her father, Emery "Buck" Porter; her husband, Bradley Shaw on December 23, 2004; two brothers, Emery Porter and Tommy Porter; and a grandson, Deven Fisher.
Friends may call from 4 to 8 p.m. on Wednesday at Jenkins Funeral Home in Bloomfield and after 10 a.m. Thursday at the Neward Lighthouse Church.
Services will be at 2 p.m Thursday at the Newark Lighthouse Church with Rev. David Miller officiating. Burial will follow in Newark Cemetery.
