Pauline G. Holtsclaw, 86, of Bloomfield, passed away at 6:35 a.m. Friday, April 17, 2009, at Lyons Health & Living Center.
Born June 23, 1922 in Greene County, she was the daughter of McKinley and Helen (Barge) Helms.
She was a homemaker and a member of the Pleasant Ridge Pentecostal Church.
Surviving relatives include: her children, Beulah S. Lucas and her husband Lloyd of Springville, Darrel G. Holtsclaw and his wife Bonnie of Springville, Gerold Wayne Holtsclaw of Bloomfield, Harold D. Holtsclaw and his wife Rita of Bloomfield, and Sharon R. Holtsclaw of Bloomfield; twin brother, Paul Helms of Bloomfield, sister, Laura Jane Hamlin of Bloomfield, and brother, George Helms of Bloomfield; her grandchildren, Brad Holtsclaw and wife Rita, Missy Fields, Jarrod Holtsclaw and wife Jessica, Rebecca Lucas, Cindy Walton and husband Jason, Amy Lucas, and Bryce Holtsclaw and wife Sarah; great, grandchildren, Hannah Fields, Wyatt Fields, Noah Walton, Bryanna Walton, Bonne Holtsclaw, and Emma Grace Holtsclaw.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Hosie Holtsclaw on March 31, 1985, one sister, Esther Cox on October 13, 1968, great, grandson, Abraham Neil Holtsclaw on February 16, 2003, and her parents.
Funeral services will be conducted 1 p.m. Tuesday, April 21, 2009 at Jenkins & Sons Funeral Home in Bloomfield, with Chris Gehring officiating.
Interment will be in Mount Calvary cemetery in rural Bloomfield.
Friends may call from 4 to 8 p.m. Monday and 1 hour prior to services Tuesday at the funeral home.
In lieu of flowers the family asks that all memorial contributions be made to the Alzheimers Association.
