Environmental fair, customer appreciation day at the Recycle Center

By Timberly Ferree SWITZ CITY -- The Greene County Recycling Center host its first environmental fair and customer appreciation day Saturday. Beth Hinkle, of Bloomfield, dropped off her recyclables into the bins at the center. Hinkle said she recycles at the center regularly but credits her son, Kenny Hinkle, a student at Bloomfield High School, for getting her to "think green." Customers who attended Saturday's event learned about recycling, renewable energy wind power, toxic-free household cleaners and more.
