Cards beat WC, EG, WRV

Andrew Bladen earned low medalist honors to lead the Bloomfield High School boys golf team to three victories Friday.

Bladen shot a 39 as the Cardinals finished with a winning total of 188. Host Washington Catholic shot 193, Eastern Greene 200 and White River Valley 241.

Also for the Cardinals, Derek Corn shot 46, Chad Mead 47 and Justin Bennett fired a 56.

For White River Valley, Tim Gregg was low with a nine-hole total of 58. Dillon Emmons fired a 59, Matt Crowe 60 and Trey Graves finished with a 65.

For EGHS, senior Kendall Byers shot 47, two shots lower than freshman J.T. Yoho.

Matt Goodwin had a 50 and Bryant Burton fired a 54.

Bloomfield's match at Sullivan Monday was rained out. They will play at Sullivan at 4:30 p.m. Tuesday, April 28.
