Linton-Stockton physicals
Fred Medical Center will be doing sports physicals for Linton-Stockton athletes on Thursday, June 4 and Friday, June 5 from 8 a.m. to 11:30 a.m. No appointment is necessary.
The cost is $15.00 (cash only).
Also the hospital will be offering echo screenings on Tuesday, June 23 from 3 to 7 p.m.

LHS Alumni game
The Sixth Annual Linton-Stockton baseball Hall of Fame Introduction and alumni game will be Sunday, May 3 at Roy Williams Field starting at 1 p.m.
Former players can register at the field starting at 11:30 a.m. and there will be no player cost this year. Players can also use the new indoor facility at the field following registration.
The HOF introduction of the late Andy Barnes will begin at 1 p.m. with the game to follow.
Any players interested in participating in the home run derby, which will follow the alumni game, will be charged $5.
Concessions will be available throughout the day's activities.
Events rescheduled
The Eastern Greene at Linton-Stockton high school baseball game that was rained out April 11 has been rescheduled for 5 p.m. Thursday, May 7. It will be a varsity-only game.
The Linton-Stockton at Union (Dugger) softball game has been rescheduled for 4:30 p.m. Thursday, April 23.
The Eminence at White River Valley baseball game, also rained out April 11, has been rescheduled for 1 p.m. Saturday May 9.
The Union (Dugger), North Central at Sullivan golf match was postponed from Tuesday until Tuesday, April 21 at the Sullivan Elks Club Golf Course.
The Linton-Stockton at White River Valley girls tennis match, also rained out recently, has been rescheduled for 4:30 p.m. Thursday, April 30.
The Bloomfield boys golf team will competed at Sullivan Tuesday, April 28 at 4:30 p.m. The event with the Cardinals and Linton-Stockton at Sullivan was washed out Monday.
The Miners and WC will play at Sullivan at 4:30 p.m. Wednesday, May 20.
The Washington Catholic and Linton-Stockton girls tennis match was rained out Monday. It has yet to be rescheduled.
The Vincennes Rivet at Linton-Stockton baseball game was rained out Monday. No make-up date has yet been set.
Monday's Bloomfield girls tennis match at White River Valley was rained out. No make-up date has been announced.
The Clay City at White River Valley softball game Monday also was postponed.
The Union (Dugger) vs. Clay City boys golf match at Hoosier Hills also was postponed because of the weather.
Bloomfield's match at Paoli, which was rained out April 13, has been rescheduled for 5 p.m. Wednesday, May 6.
Church League
Linton Church League Softball Association is taking entries for the summer season.
The season will begin on Monday, June 1
The entry deadline is on Saturday, May 15.

Adult Co-ed Softball League
The Shakamak Youth League will have an adult co-ed softball league this spring in Jasonville. The format of teams will be seven men and three women.
Cost per team is $275.
There will be a 12-game schedule, two games each Saturday starting May 2. There will be a double elimination tourney at the end of the season.

Bass fishing tournaments
Shakamak State Park will once again by having bass fishing tournament throughout the spring and summer that are open team jackpots and open to the public.
The next tournament is set for 7 p.m. to midnight, Friday, May 15.
Registration at Kickapoo ramp is set for 6:45 p.m.
There also will be tournaments on Fridays June 5, June 26, July 10, July 31, Aug. 14 and Sept. 4. All of these events are set for 7 p.m. to midnight with registration at 6:45 p.m.
The final tournament of the season will be Saturday, Sept. 26 from 8 a.m. to 2 p.m. Registration, again at Kickapoo ramp, will be at 7:45 a.m.

Team tennis at Vincennes
The Vincennes Tennis Club will be having team tennis this summer at the Vincennes Lincoln High School tennis courts.
Teams and individuals of all skill levels and ages are welcome.
League play, featuring matches on Monday and Thursday evenings, will begin after Memorial Day and last through July.
Entry deadline is Saturday, May 16. Membership fee is $20.
