GREENE COUNTY SHERIFF'S DEPARTMENT
* April 28 -- Charles E. Parker, 46, Spencer, was arrested on preliminary charges of operating a vehicle while intoxicated, released on April 29 on $8,000 bond and scheduled to appear in court on May 4. Greene County Sheriff's Deputy Jeremy Inman was the arresting officer.
LINTON POLICE DEPARTMENT
The Linton Police Department's activity log for Tuesday included one follow-up investigation, one custody dispute/exchange, two protective order violations, one drug investigation, one disorderly conduct, one funeral escort, one off-road vehicle complaint, one medical/illness, two animal complaints, one burglary, one harassment complaint, one fingerprint for a gun permit, one ordinance violation and six traffic stops.
* April 28 -- A resident on RR 2 reported a burglary which occurred sometime between 9 p.m. April 28 and 1:30 a.m. April 29. A screen window had been cut and a suspect is believed to have reached through the screen and opened the door. A Playstation 3 was the only item taken and a bedroom was gone through but other rooms were not bothered.
LPD Officer Karl Jacobshagen was the investigating officer.
